Michele Mattei is a portrait and Fine Art Photographer. Her work is included in the collections of the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the Newseum in Washington D.C., in the archives of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and in many private collections. For the past many years she had photographed and interviewed illustrious women whose personal and professional contributions have fostered significant changes in our world such as Betty Friedan, Louise Bourgeois, Dolores Huerta, Mathilde Krim, Andree Putman, Agnes Martin, Sonia Rykiel... Currently she is working on a new iteration of her project "WOMEN OF INFLUENCE" and is photographing the new wave of women who dedicate their life to making a positive difference in the world today. She has had exhibits internationally and her work has been showcased in important art fairs including Art London, Art Miami, LA Art Show, Art Chicago, Art Dubai..
